What is PPJK?

PPJK is a business entity that manages the fulfillment of customs obligations for and on behalf of importers or exporters. Customs notification of imported or exported goods is carried out by carriers, importers or exporters.

Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 65/PMK.0412007 concerning Customs Services Management Entrepreneurs.

Regulation of the Director General of Customs and Excise No. P-2Zl BC/2007 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Identification Numbers and Supervision of Customs Services Management Entrepreneurs.

To be able to start customs service management activities, PPJK must have a form of guarantee in the form of:

Cash guarantee.

Bank guarantee.

Guarantee from the insurance company.



If the processing of the customs declaration is not carried out independently; importers or exporters can give their power of attorney to customs service management entrepreneurs (PPJK).

PPJK registers through electronic media to the Directorate General of Customs and Excise to obtain the PPJK principal number.

Customs technical section checks administrative requirements.

The Customs Technical Director on behalf of the Director General of Customs and Excise gives approval after the registration data is declared complete and correct.

PPJK received PPJK principal number.

PPJK that has obtained the PPJK principal number must first submit a guarantee to the Head of KPPBC (Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office) whose working area is in charge of the PPJK domicile.
